Recent work has involved me supporting another Year 6 member of staff for two terms in a school in our pyramid. This deployment involved regular 1:1 meetings, setting action plans and reviewing these, discussions with the Head teacher, observation of lessons and providing constructive feedback and also modelling teaching through observing myself in my own setting. Advice was also provided on assessment and marking and helped with SEND issues as the teacher was also SENDCO too. As a result of the input, the teachers confidence grew significantly over the two terms that I was in supporting (The teacher was new to Year 6 and had not had this experience). Planning and assessment improved and as a result the teacher assessment levels from the start of support to the end rose significantly.

I have also supported School Direct trainees by sharing practice on differentiation and the gifted and talented through a number of twilight sessions which I received positive feedback.
