Lisa Gray – SLE Pen Portrait

SLE Specialism: Behaviour and Safeguarding.

I have worked as Leader of behaviour for 10 years and been a member of the Leadership Team for 7 years at the Primary school I am based at. During this time I have lead on creating a whole school behaviour policy and effectively engaged all stakeholders to embed this into our practice. At our last OFSTED Inspection we were graded Outstanding with behaviour, attendance and safeguarding receiving recognition for demonstrating good practice.

I work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide a holistic view to their learning and remove any barriers to learning and lead on whole school transition to engage parents/ carers and the wider community. I provide parents with the opportunities to access their own learning through partnership working with adult and family Learning and lead Webster Stratton Parenting programme in school.

As an SLE with BTSA I have delivered a number of behaviour management/ positive relationship twilights as part of the ITT programme for  School Direct trainees and gained positive feedback.
