Understanding behaviour whilst building a repertoire of strategies that work – Deliberate engagement – Restorative Practice – Behaviour management strategies for real teachers, teaching real children in a real school – Expectations, routines and the beautiful purposeful classroom – Modelling what we want to see from children – The Circle of Influence as a tool for reflecting on child attitudes and behaviour – Being a proactive teacher – Why getting angry doesn’t help – Bill Rogers’ approaches to diffusing tension – Helping your TA to help you.
